Busy Sunday

I think I have been at church all day...but that was good. This morning was nice with Sunday school and church...then we met in another class room and Randy talked about the children's camp coming up this Wednesday. I came back to the church at 2:30pm for the Audit Committee Meeting that lasted a little over 2 hours and it went very well. Our church secretary, Helen, does a god job keeping things in order...we had no trouble finding all the things we needed. When we were done with that meeting it was after 4:30pm and time for the VBS meeting that lasted until after 5:30pm and that was great. Dee woods has it together and everyone seemed ready to volunteer to do things that needed to be done for all that. We are trying to reach out to the community and pass out flyers to people to let them know what we are doing. Our theme is "Veggie Tales: The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" if any of you know the veggie tales...you know how funny they are! Now it was time to go outside and eat and fellowship with church family at the cook out. This was a lot of fun as you can really let your hair down and wear you shorts and t-shirts...play games and of course talk and eat. You know how it is...bring food and the people will come!! Us Baptists love to eat....

After everything was over, Keith and I sat outside and talked with Randy! That is always fun...never a dull moment!! You can learn so much about people when you can talk with them one on one....getting to know Randy is always a learning experience. You learn something new each and every time! We love you Randy!!!

Now, it is late and time for me to get ready for bed!! Audrey has driver's ed this week and her class test is this Friday....Hannah is working part time for her aunt and uncle (Allison and Eric) and that is going great! I am going to get for now.
